John F. Kennedy, at age 43, was the youngest elected U.S. President. Teddy Roosevelt, however, became the youngest president at age 42 when he took over after the assassination of William McKinley.

Ronald Reagan was the oldest president. He was elected to his second term at age 69.

Grover Cleveland was the only president to serve two non-consecutive terms. He was the 22nd and 24th president, serving from 1885-1889 and 1893-1897.

James Buchanan was the only unmarried president.

Franklin D. Roosevelt was the only president to serve more than two terms - he served four.

Ronald Reagan was the only president to wear contacts.

George Washington was the only president not to belong to a political party. He was also the only president to be elected unanimously by the electoral college.
