The new Confederate monument being built in Georgia is further along than I thought!
The Facebook page of the Robert A. Toombs SCV Camp #932 has been posting updates and info, including these wonderful images from last week, of the bronze statue being placed atop the pedestal. How refreshing to see work crews assembling a monument to rebels and underdogs, as opposed to demolishing one!
