Confederate Memorial Day photos from Valor Memorial Park

Valor Memorial Park is a park in North Carolina which I posted about earlier. Here are some more photos of this beautiful place from a recent Confederate Memorial Day celebration:

Such a cool thing to see.

To quote some of the comments:

“Flowers, coins, prayers, all for a great man. The world needs more like him especially now.”

“Was there 3 weeks ago. Not only they leave flowers but also coins.”

The second coming of Robert E. Lee

The Civil War artifact store Union Drummer Boy, located in Gettysburg, PA, is the new home of a statue of Robert E. Lee.

The store announced earlier this month:

“We are honored to have acquired this special statue of General Robert E. Lee by Rudolph Evans. This wonderfully executed statue was the artist study for his bronze which was completed for the University of Virginia where it stood until 2020 and was removed. This example stands at 8 feet 3 inches. Stop by and see him in person!”
As a commenter on the Facebook post correctly stated: “Awesome! Huge loss for University of Virginia. Huge win for Union Drummer Boy.”

Visit the Union Drummer Boy Facebook page here, and their website here.
